We are one of the largest Zambian owned broking firms uniquely positioned in the Zambian insurance market. This is owed to our international service capacity, through our correspondent contracts with some of the largest insurance broker firms in the world. We are fully Licensed by the Pensions and Insurance Authority and are a member of the Insurance Brokers Association in Zambia. We were registered on the 18th of November 1993 when the insurance industry was liberalized and operations commenced on the 1st of July 1994. 1st July 2024, therefore, commemorates 30 years of existence.
We have the capacity and experience to provide all insurance broking services, as evidenced by both our local and international client portfolio, that we place a diverse range of standard and specialized polices for.
We also have several relationships with key Insures and Re-Insurers both in the Zambian and overseas markets, ensuring that our capacity to place common and unique insurance cover on the widest possible terms, at the best possible rates, is supported by the best service available in these markets. We dedicate ourselves to our service of clients, recognizing and providing for each client’s unique insurance and business needs thus ensuring complete protection of their assets and unforeseen liabilities.


Our Founder
The Late Mr. Mark C. Ndilla
We have continued with Mr. Ndilla’s legacy by following the ethos and professionalism that he not only brought to the company but the industry at large. Having trained and mentored staff at Savanna, his insurance prowess still permeates the organization.
Mr. Ndilla started his career in 1971 at Zambia State Insurance Corporation, the only insurance company at the time in Zambia. He ultimately rose to the position of General Manager in 1988.
He became a fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management, a member of British Institute of Management, a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and held a Diploma in Business Studies. He also trained in the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Japan and United States of America. Therefore, gained worldwide exposure through his training and travels, in which he met with senior executives of insurance firms.
Mr. Ndilla served on the national board of Zambia Chambers of Commerce and Industry, which looks after the Interest of major players in the Zambian economy and their business activities in Zambia. He also served as President of Insurance Brokers Association of Zambia. In 1995, he retired from Zambia State Insurance Corporation to venture into private insurance broking, after 24 years of service. Thus, bringing vast experience on a multitude of Insurance portfolios country wide to his newly formed firm.
